I am thrilled to share that I was named the December 2022 Employee of the Month at Bally’s Dover Casino Hotel and Resort. Despite being with the company for only three months, I was recognized for my hard work and dedication to the team.
The selection process for Employee of the Month at our company is unique in that it involves recommendations from both managers and coworkers. This means that not only did I have to prove myself to my manager, but I also had to earn the respect and recognition of my colleagues.
From the very beginning of my employment, I was determined to prove myself to everyone around me. I was given a lot of responsibility early on, such as covering weekend shifts and being the IT tech on call for the entire month of November. I was also entrusted to head up the deployment of new POS terminals, which I was able to complete ahead of schedule, all within my first 3 months of employment.
By taking on these challenges and demonstrating my ability to handle the extra responsibility, I earned the trust and respect of my colleagues and managers. This ultimately led to me being named Employee of the Month.
I am grateful to work with such a supportive and talented team, and I am committed to continuing to contribute to the success of our company. Thank you to everyone at Bally’s Dover Casino Hotel and Resort for making me feel so welcome and for recognizing my hard work.
