Meet The Person Behind The Blog
Joshua Souder, known by friends as Josh, is a late 20s graduate from The Ohio State University with a degree in Security and Intelligence. This individual loves going on hikes with their dog Charlie, a deaf and visually impaired Australian Shepard, listening to music, cooking, and creating things with their Elegoo Neptune 2 3D printer.
While there are plenty of hobbies to keep Josh busy, his true passion lies in the field of tech, particularly pentesting. He aspires to become a professional penetration tester, one who is well-versed in all aspects of the field, including programming, social engineering, physical security manipulation, and more.
To achieve this goal, Josh plans to teach himself everything he can about the tech world and post his learnings on The Red Tech Blog. While pentesting will be a primary focus of the blog, he also plans to share other areas of tech that interest him, including how-to’s on his various projects like the Proxmox server cluster, Pi-hole DNS server, Plex server, and other fun projects.
Josh is also a maker at heart and loves creating things. He has been working on various projects with his 3D printer, including designing original pieces and recreating projects made by other talented creators. The Forge section of The Red Tech Blog is where you’ll find Josh’s designs and other creations.
With a desire to learn new skills and share his knowledge with others, Josh is dedicated to creating content that’s both informative and engaging. Stay tuned for exciting updates and insightful posts from The Red Tech Blog!
